Refund & Cancellation Policy
How refunds and cancellations work for BSPI engagements.

Before investigation work begins
If you cancel your engagement before any investigation work has commenced, you are entitled to a full refund of any amount paid, less payment processor fees where applicable.
After investigation work begins
Once investigation work has commenced, refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis based on hours expended and resources committed. Unused hours within a package may be refunded or credited at BSPI's discretion.
Cancellations by BSPI
BSPI may decline or cancel an engagement if the requested scope cannot be performed lawfully, if identity verification fails, or if continuing the engagement would be unethical. In such cases, fees for unperformed work will be refunded in full.
Payment outcomes
Payment does not guarantee a specific investigative outcome. Refunds are not issued solely on the basis that an investigation did not produce the outcome a client hoped for.
